This is the best water bottle for any kind of travel situation. It doesn’t leak and and indestructible. Legend is, you can drive over it with your car – and it will still be just as reliable. I bought mine in 2006 at an REI Outlet for $7.00 plus tax (Today it costs more- thanks inflation). Last week my screw top lid melted, (I accidentally let it touch a burner, my bad.) Luckily – they make the same water bottle today as they did over a decade ago, even though colors have changed. (Yes, I know, OVER a decade ago.) So, it was pretty easy to pick my next decade’s lid.

My water bottle has been hiking in Alaska, Utah, Hawaii, Colorado, and all over the Midwest. I’ve accessorized mine with a silicone straw and a lot of water bottle stickers. I’ve dropped it on mountain hiking trails, near my car, and at work- it is still good as new.

There are SOOOOOOO many colors and quite a number of accessories. I prefer the standard screw cap – because it never leaks. There are a few other caps also available.

I received my thermos as a gift, and I’m not gunna lie, I was very indifferent about it. Until I used it for warm beverages… and let me tell you. This is the most fantastic bottle for all your favorite hot chocolate, coffee, tea, chai, or anything else you love. Believe me when I tell you – I have filled mine to the brim with hot chocolate on more than one occasion, then consumed all 40 oz of hot chocolate between meals. The vacuum insulation keeps your drink hot all day long. There are a variety of colors for the bottles and an overwhelming amount of accessories you can purchase. And the standard screw top bucket cap will never leak.

Sadly, I dropped mine. While the integrity of the thermos was still there, the outside coating of the thermos chipped and it was sharp. It could cut skin and became very annoying to cold fingers during the winter. I have purchased a silicone sleeve for the bottle and that fixed that issue. I recommend a silicone sleeve accessory if you purchase any Hydro Flask.

This bottle is great for bringing enough coffee, hot chocolate, tea… to share among 4 people when you are out and about. Or, you can use it as an all day bottle. When I am using the bottle for the day by myself, I usually use a silicone straw and just keep the straw in my bottle all day. I only use the standard bucket screw cap because I know it won’t leak.

Hydro Flask Travel Coffee Flask – 12 oz, Pacific

This bottle really brightens my day because any beverage I put inside the bottle instantly feels like a treat. This is very similar to the 40 oz flask mentioned previously. The only difference is just size. It is cute and small and perfect for a quick cup of coffee or tea as you leave the house. It is also fantastic to camp with as a thermos for your mess kit. Hydro Flask has a 12 oz travel coffee flask and also a kids 12 oz bottle. The difference is just the type of lid that the bottle comes with.

I use a flip top sip lid and I recommend a silicone sleeve. The bottle is likely to chip in the same way as the bigger bottle. The vacuum insulation keeps your drink hot all day long. There are a variety of colors for the bottles and an overwhelming amount of accessories you can purchase. A screw top cap from Hydro Flask will never leak.

Sadly, this water bottle is no longer available. There are a few places that you can purchase something similar on ebay or on amazon. I am very disappointed that this bottle is discontinued. It was the perfect size for an on the go water bottle and had an easy to use filter. This bottle has been to Utah, California, Iceland, Seattle, Texas, and all over the Midwest with me. It is an almost perfect airplane travel bottle. It is quick to fill up at the airport and makes me feel better about the water I am drinking with the filter. The only down side is – that it leaks if tipped or there is a change in pressure.

I accessorize the bottle with a clip and hang it off the back of my back pack or clip it to the seat in front of me on the airplane. This way the bottle never leaks.

Everyone needs a giant 32 oz hospital water bottle to keep with them around the house to increase their water intake. Obviously, this bottle isn’t a favorite for aesthetic purposes, but I do find that it helps me keep track and motivate me to get enough water throughout the day.

This is not a good travel bottle. It is ideal to cart with you through the house on the weekend and you relax or do chores. It is not a good bottle to take to and from work or to a hike. I would call this a health purchase.

Clear Tumbler with Straw: 7/10 Stars

You need a clean acrylic or glass double wall tumbler for all your summer beverages. Why clear? Because a clear tumbler is a humble brag about how tasty and cold whatever beverage you chose that hot summer day. You can see the milk and coffee separation in your iced coffee. You can see the ice melting on the scorching summer day. You can see your citrus slices in your lemon – ice – water. It is the perfect brag to everyone who can see, because you don’t even have to brag.

The down side is – if it tips it’ll spill all over you. I count a clear tumbler as bougie move. Necessary but still bougie.
