My name is Rachael. I am a teacher, engineer, dog mom, crafter, painter, traveler, avid reader, runner, author, illustrator, and creative cook.
I was born and raised in Alaska- and have since lived in Hawaii, Utah, Oklahoma, and Kansas.
I really enjoy learning. I have two bachelor degrees to prove it! The only problem is- that I can’t stick to learning & mastering just one thing. Maybe I am too curious of a person.
This blog is an effort to give all the many things I like to do a life outside of myself.
I believe anyone can learn, and be good at, anything they want to be. Throughout my college career, I truly felt like I was not smart enough. However, even with that feeling, I did not believe that because I didn’t believe I could do it, didn’t mean I couldn’t do it. I think anyone can learn, and excel, at anything they want to. Even if they do not believe it is something they “can” do.
So, be curious and allow yourself to explore new hobbies.
